KUTIRO

The Kutiro are a set of three drums played by Mandinka people in West Africa. Similar, and possibly predecessors to Sabar, the Kutiro are also played with stick and hand.

The set shown is a spectacular example of Kutiro. They are beautifully carved Dinba, with new skins, rope and webbing.

The three (3) Drums are called: the "Sabaro", the "Kutirindingo", and the" Kutirinb".
